Key for us is that you have the resilience and courage to extract as much value out of this extraordinary opportunity as you can.

You must be able to commit your full time and attention during your placement in the US and fulfil your obligations to return to New Zealand and present back within two months of your return.

Selection Process

The success of Te Ara Pōtiki will be determined by the quality and performance of our people.

Our selection process has two parts:

  • Making an application and being accepted into the programme.

  • Matching candidates to the US companies.

Being accepted into the programme means you are on the list to be placed offshore with final placement subject to the needs and right timing of the US company.

We all want this to be the best experience possible so we will take time to ensure all of this works, in everyone’s interest.

The 2025 program is now open for applications.
